Nazarian / Curcio is a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles owned by Shulamit Nazarian and Seth Curcio. The gallery was founded by Shulamit Nazarian in Venice, CA in 2012 with a focus on artists from the greater Middle East. In 2016, Seth Curcio joined Shulamit and together they expanded the gallery’s focus to include emerging, mid-career, and established artists whose interests challenge and illuminate current social and political issues through a lens of personal narrative. In 2017, the gallery relocated to its current building in Hollywood, CA on La Brea Ave at Melrose Ave. The 6,000 square-foot space spans two floors, featuring two exhibition spaces, a library, private offices and dedicated viewing rooms.
The exhibition program at Nazarian / Curcio is dedicated to supporting artists’ growth and development by consistently amplifying their practice via placement in public and private collections, museum exhibitions, and monographs. The gallery participates in national and international art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze Los Angeles, The Armory Show, ADAA’s The Art Show, FOG Design + Art, EXPO Chicago, Dallas Art Fair, Art Brussels, and NADA NY and Miami.
