Located behind a courtyard and before an artist’s studio, FOYER-LA is an in-between space for experimentation. It is a place of possibility, dialogue, and continuum, and an invitation for collaboration and conversation through looking. It is a space for gathering together to glimpse this freedom.
FOYER-LA was founded by artist Connie Walsh in 2019. Since that time, we have presented over 30 projects.
NOON Projects is a gallery in Chinatown, Los Angeles. Our program showcases artists who work from the heart, with a focus on queerness, the divine, the natural world, craft, and social practices. We host an ongoing program of dinners, concerts, meditation groups, and community happenings.
We aim to create a welcoming space for artists and the community to connect and flourish. Please come by and see us – you are very welcome here.
Charlie James Gallery was formed and opened in 2008 in Chinatown, Los Angeles, and is owned and directed by Charlie James, a collector turned gallerist who had a background in CRM application consulting at Microsoft and other companies before opening the business. The gallery’s ethos asserts that art should engage with the time of its making, and is known for platforming work of significant political and cultural engagement. It has built a strong reputation for platforming and historicizing numerous young artists from Los Angeles and beyond.
Works by our artists appear in esteemed museum collections ranging from the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, the LA County Museum of Art, the Hammer Museum, MoCA LA, the MFA Boston, the Walker Art Center, and many others. The gallery operates out of two spaces on Chung King Road in Los Angeles, California.
James Veloria sells special vintage and contemporary pre-owned clothing and accessories. The James Veloria brand started as a side project for Collin James Weber and Brandon Veloria Giordano stemming from their love of avant-garde and experimental fashion design from the 90s and 00s. After starting exclusively as an online retailer in 2014, the owners opened their first brick and mortar store in Chinatown NYC in July of 2017. Located in a mall under the Manhattan Bridge, the small shop attracted the attention of stylists, photographers, and fashion lovers from around the world and has been featured in publications including The New York Times, Vogue, I-D Magazine, and WWD. In 2024, the second James Veloria store opened its doors in Los Angeles’ Chinatown neighborhood.
Inspired by innovative design and the use of bold colors and patterns, the store is packed with unique, exciting, and iconic pieces, with an emphasis on Japanese and European designers. Each shop is curated with a specific vision and critical eye in order to meet the standards of the James Veloria aesthetic while still maintaining an accessible price point.
