Wednesday, Aug. 30, 3 – 4pm Add to Calendar
In the 1980s, artist Evelyna Liang developed “Art in the Camp," a UN-backed program that empowered Vietnamese "boat people" refugees in Hong Kong to express their stories through art. Liang will join Wende Museum Exhibition Coordinator Emma Diffley on Zoom to discuss the transformative power of art in healing traumas and building hope.
