We wake up nearly every day to increasingly outlandish and terrifying headlines. Things are rough out there. This exhibition is about plants. About how being around, or even just thinking about being around them, is a reset in perspective. A grounding experience. This kind of continuous readjustment back to a healthy framework and context for approaching it all feels essential. Sitting down by the creek in the summer under a canopy of leaves and dappled sunlight eating sandwiches and pie is an irrefutable joy.
The exhibition's opening will be the gallery’s third annual pie fest. We hope you’ll join us for a couple of homemade pies in the alley behind the gallery. There is no creek, but there are some nice trees back there.
