Pace Live, in partnership with the David Lynch Foundation, is pleased to present a special meditation event in Los Angeles supporting wildfire relief efforts across Southern California. The Foundation’s work bringing Transcendental Meditation® (TM) to at-risk communities aligns with Pace’s vision for healing and resilience through collective care.
This event reimagines Pace’s LA gallery as a site for wellness, resource-sharing, and connection. Taking place within The Monster, a group exhibition curated by Robert Nava, the meditation offers a moment of reflection amid artworks—including a painting by David Lynch—that explore the mythic, uncanny, and deeply human dimensions of monstrosity. Both the event and the exhibition invite us to consider how care and contemplation can exist alongside complexity and chaos. Proceeds from the event will support local fire relief efforts and future community-based programming organized by the gallery.
In response to the recent LA wildfires, Pace has committed funds toward grassroots, in-gallery programming that responds to both urgent and long-term community needs—this upcoming event is part of a new initiative led by Pace’s internal Fire Relief Subcommittee, developed by the gallery’s Culture & Equity department and its LA team.
We welcome you to join us—for stillness, for healing, and for action.
