Maija Luutonen: Cream Sand

NOON Projects is thrilled to present Cream Sand, the first-ever solo exhibition in the United States by Finnish artist Maija Luutonen. Known for her innovative approach to painting on paper, Luutonen expands the boundaries of her practice with a new suite of paintings on canvas and linen.

Luutonen has exhibited widely across Europe, with solo shows at Kunsthaus Pasquart (Switzerland), Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art (Helsinki), and Titanik (Turku, Finland). A founding member of SIC, an artist-run space in Helsinki, her work is also held in major collections such as Kiasma and Helsinki Art Museum.
