Please join us for a discussion of Portals with Ken Tisa organized by Mindy Shapero. The discussion, led by Ken Tisa and Mindy Shapero, will take place at the gallery (7277 Santa Monica Blvd) on Saturday, February 8 at 4pm. The exhibition honors the legacy of visual artist and educator Ken Tisa, and features work by eighteen of his former students. The exhibition invites us to see the work of these artists not just as objects, but as thresholds—gateways into a legacy defined by imagination, community, and the profound pleasure of creating. Participating artists include: Ken Tisa, Frank Benson, Jessica Dickinson, Brock Enright, Naomi Fisher, Matt Johnson, Emily Kiacz, Karsten Krejcarek, Zachary Leener, Jerry Lim, Rachel Ostrow, Courtney Puckett, Adam Putman, Matthew Ronay, Colette Robbins, Sunny A.
