Moviestar Film Premiere

Please join us on Monday, February 17 for the premiere of Moviestar, a debut short film directed by Michelle Uckotter and co-written by poet Riley Mac, with photography direction by Michelle Homonylo.
 
This screening is planned in conjunction with a two-part exhibition of the same title at Matthew Brown and Marc Selwyn Fine Art.
 
Moviestar presents a harrowing dreamscape situated in Uckotter's "cinema of painting," in which the lines between violence and eroticism blur as an evening devolves into chaos.
