Tour: Paul McCartney-Rearview Mirror

Join Gagosian for a tour of Paul McCartney: Rearview Mirror: Photographs, December 1963–February 1964 at the Beverly Hills gallery, led by Gagosian director Joshua Chuang, who organized the exhibition. Chuang will guide visitors through McCartney’s recently rediscovered photographs, which offer an indelible snapshot of Beatlemania as it was becoming a global phenomenon. He will also discuss the process of working with McCartney to remaster his original negatives and contact sheets to produce the editions, a mix of black-and-white and color prints that includes self-portraits, unguarded views of his bandmates, and depictions of the pandemonium that greeted them at every turn.
