Join Gagosian for a conversation between Titus Kaphar and Sandra Jackson-Dumont, director and CEO of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Los Angeles, inside the exhibition Exhibiting Forgiveness at Gagosian, Beverly Hills. Shown here for the first time, the paintings on view are featured in Kaphar’s first narrative feature film, Exhibiting Forgiveness (2023), which debuted at Sundance this year and will be released theatrically nationwide on October 18. Jackson-Dumont—who organized an exhibition of Kaphar’s work at the Seattle Art Museum in 2009—will speak with the artist about his multifaceted practice, focusing on the semi-autobiographical film.
