"This 'viewing room' offers a contemplation on paradoxical embodiments of God as cloud and fire in scripture."
For his first solo exhibition with Diane Rosenstein Gallery, Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia will show a suite of works: four recent landscape paintings, a woven textile, and a pall – a sculpture in drawn textile, beadwork, and acrylic paint. Titled Vida, pasión, y muerte (2017), it stands in the middle of the gallery space he has called 'A Viewing Room.'
