BOOK RELEASE AND CELEBRATION JONAS WOOD: PLANTS AND ANIMALS

Join us for a book release and celebration of Jonas Wood’s striking new catalogue, Plants and Animals, which explores his 2022 exhibition at David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles. The artist will sign copies of the publication, which will be available for purchase at the event and is available now in our online shop. Select works related to the exhibition will also be on view. 

Featuring illuminating texts by Wood that incorporate process notes, references, and thoughts about his practice and artmaking in general, this richly illustrated monograph shows how Wood plans and executes his celebrated paintings from his own point of view. Full-color plates of the fourteen paintings in the exhibition accompany the texts, paired with installation views and dozens of contextualizing images, including drawings, collages, prints, photographs, previous paintings, research materials, and studio shots.
