Gardens of Adam and Eve is a queer survey that reimagines the origins of woman and man into pluralistic and inclusive gardens that center not only the origin story of man and woman but also the inclusion of all gender-expansive people in the creation of the world and, consequently, our own queer, ecological creationist stories.   In this context, the gardens become more than multiple Edens; they become multiple worlds of becoming, where identity, ecology, and imagination continually reshape one another. Rather than proposing a single paradise or a singular narrative of creation, the exhibition acknowledges the many cultural, ecological, and queer narratives through which humanity imagines its beginnings.
