Founded in 2024, a poco art is an independent curatorial platform and experimental art space based in a loft apartment in Culver City, Los Angeles. Founded by curator and art archivist Ann Shi, the space brings together contemporary art, cultural exchange, and unconventional approaches to exhibition-making.
Operating beyond the traditional gallery model, a poco art fosters artistic experimentation, dialogue, and collaboration. With a particular interest in Asian cultural lineages and diasporic experiences, its program explores the intersections of tradition and contemporary practice, creating space for emerging and established artists to challenge familiar perspectives and develop new possibilities.
Through exhibitions, intimate gatherings, workshops, and artist collaborations, a poco art offers a setting where art can be encountered, questioned, and experienced in close conversation.
