Artist Kandis Williams is widely recognized for her critical approach to myth, libidinal and social coded behavior, and the affectual provocations of structural violence entangled with race, aesthetics, and ethics. Her practice spans collage, writing, performance, pedagogy and multimedia.
During this visit, Kandis walks us through her artist-run publishing and educational platform, CASSANDRA PRESS, and some of its key publications on Black scholarship, reparations, misogynoir, violent abstractions of race, and more. You can subscribe and learn more about the platform here.
