Artist Genevieve Gaignard walks us through her current studio space as an artist-in-residence at MCLA’s Design Lab in Massachusetts. Gaignard is well known for her collaged works and self-portraiture exploring identity via performance and accessibility within the intersections of race, class, and gender. In this visit, the artist shares with us what she has been creating in the midst of the pandemic and “historical moments happening that are addressing police brutality and racism in America.”
