Hamzianpour & Kia is a dynamic Los Angeles-based gallery supporting emerging and mid-career artists with a focus on the Middle East and the Iranian diaspora. Distinguished by its cutting-edge program, Hamzianpour & Kia regularly presents the debut US exhibitions of internationally recognized artists.

The gallery is dedicated to building a platform for artists from countries and cultures underrepresented in dominant contemporary art spheres while building relationships with institutions and collectors in Los Angeles and the broader international art world. With a focus on multidisciplinary artists working in a variety of media, the program fosters international discourse directed toward a Los Angeles audience. Exhibiting artists frequently present new work made exhibition-specific with these contexts and audiences in mind. To further support the gallery’s artists and their expansive practices, Hamzianpour & Kia plans to announce a roster of represented artists in 2023.

Established in 2022 by Narges Hamzianpour and Farid Kia, the gallery is the culmination of 15 years of professional experience in galleries and institutions across Dubai, Tehran, New York, and Los Angeles.

Hamzianpour and Kia is located in an iconic art deco building on the Northeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. The gallery can be accessed on weekdays via Wilshire Avenue and on Saturdays via Carling Way (off S La Brea). The gallery will remain at a limited capacity. Masks and information for contact tracing are required for entry. The gallery does not accept unsolicited artist submissions.
